We invite you to the DOUBLE BBQ Gives Back KCBS master and backyard contest to be held March 21st – 23rd, 2025 at the Bethpage Camp – Resort in Urbanna, VA! We are working hard to make this a memorable contest.
Our contest will benefit the Team Thanksgiving Food Bank. Teams will be asked to donate their leftover proteins at the Saturday contest, after all 4 meat turn ins are complete, to the food bank. We are also helping raise funds for the Burn Survivors Foundation. Since its formation, the mission of the Burn Survivors Foundation has been and will continue to be to improve the lives of all burn survivors, their families, and caregivers. The Burn Survivors Foundation provides affordable, educational, and outdoor recreational activities that foster a feeling of love and fellowship. The Burn Survivors Foundation will continue to provide a future for all through hope. How many champions will be crowned during the weekend? There is the possibilty of 9-yes NINE! Would your team like to be one of the lucky 9? Count them with me – KCBS Master Series Contest Grand Champions on Saturday AND Sunday, that’s 2! KCBS Backyard Contest Grand Champions on Saturday and Sunday, 2 more! KCBS Friday night 1 meat Chicken Champion, add 1! KCBS Friday night 1 meat Ribs Champion, another 1! MABA Cup Finals Champion, additional 1! VA Grands Champions, 1 more! Additional opportunities include a FREE Thursday night social event for teams, judges and reps to join in a friendly discussion of BBQ related topics with some possible new events for the night also. SATURDAY and SUNDAY grab and go breakfast will be provided for teams immediately following Cook’s Church.

Entry fees, deadlines and other information may be found on the competitors page.
