**Voluntary cash/check donation to Burn Survivors Foundation and canned/dry foods for Team Thanksgiving will be accepted at any time.Donation by all teams of leftover cooked proteins will occur SATURDAY only at 1:45-2 pm, please bring covered pans to tent for the church volunteers to accept. We thank you in advance.
Thursday March 20th
AFTER 12 noon – 9 pm: team check in(if you expect late arrival, let me know)
6 – 7:30 pm – Hamburgers/hot dogs, baked beans, chips, BYOB drink
Friday March 21st
AFTER 8 am: team check in *Meat inspections for Friday night contests and Saturday contest will occur throughout the day at your team site*Box handouts in tent after 9 am
4:00 pm– New (less than 3 contests) KCBS teams meeting with KCBS reps in tent
4:00 pm – Kids Que cooks meeting in tent(OR 6:00 pm)(OR Saturday 23rd at 1 pm outside tent)
4:30 pm – Cooks meeting for ALL KCBS teams in tent – door prizes will be given!
6:00 pm – Kids Que cooks meeting in tent area (if you can not be at 4:00 pm meeting)
6:25 – 6:35 pm – One meat chicken turn in
6:55 – 7:05 pm – Turkey Smoke turn in
7:25 – 7:35 pm – One meat rib turn in
8:30 pm – Awards in tent (time is dependent upon reps completion of scoring)
11 pm – 7 am – Quiet time
Saturday March 22nd
6:45 – 7:00 am – Cook’s Church in tent led by pastor Hermitage Baptist Church
7:00 – 7:30 am – Grab and go breakfast items and coffee in tent – FREE for teams
7:00 – 9:00 am – Meat inspections for Sunday contest will occur at team site
11:55 – 12:05 pm – Chicken turn in – Master and Backyard
12:25 – 12:35 pm – Pork Rib turn in – Master and Backyard
12:55 – 1:05 pm – Pork turn in – Master only
1:25 – 1:35 pm – Brisket turn in – Master only
1:45 – 2:00 pm – Leftover cooked meats from all teams for food bank donation turn in at tent
2:30 – 2:40 pm – Kids Que turn in at tent
4:30 pm – Awards in tent (time is dependent upon reps completion of scoring) – Cooks meeting for Sunday teams to follow awards
11 pm – 7 am – Quiet time
Sunday March 23rd
*Same as Saturday except no leftover cooked protein donation today and no KIDS Q– all sites must be vacated by 6 pm
MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS:
Below are pictures of campsite (Masters 50’x50’ and Backyard 25’width x 50’length) and power located on every site. Water and sewer connections are also located on every site. Contest organizers will NOT supply any cords or hoses so please bring all needed items.


Cable and free Wi-Fi also available if you have the time to relax!
Easy in and out sites!
30 and 50 amp and 110 volt power stand – just plug in!
There is a bathhouse/shower/toilet building located directly across from the sites and tent. Please report any issues to contest organizer so we may contact camp-resort staff.
Grease and ash barrels will be placed at various locations near team sites. These MUST be used for disposing of grease and ash. Wet ash thoroughly. DO NOT leave grease and ash at your campsite.
Grey water will be disposed of in the sewer line located in each site.
There are no fire pits on the campsites so bring your own if you want to use one.
There are golf carts to rent. This must be done at the campground office as the contest organizers have no responsibility for golf carts. If you bring your own golf cart, you will be asked to provide insurance documentation by the campground office.
Trash will be bagged and picked up at your site at approximately 8 am/2:15 pm/4 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday by camp-resort staff. There is also a trash dumpster on site that may be used at any time by teams. Wet ash thoroughly. DO NOT leave trash bags outside unattended as it may draw unwanted animals.
Ice will be brought to sites at approximately 8am/2:15 pm/4 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday by camp-resort staff. If you wish to purchase, the camp-resort staff will be selling ice.
The camp store has basic camping items for sale. NOT bbq related so please plan ahead.
Pets ARE allowed in campsites; ARE NOT allowed in cottages.
Smoking is NOT allowed in cottages.
Open containers of your favorite adult beverage should be cleverly hidden in koozies please!
